The Volokh Conspiracy - Analysis

Found something interesting on Reason.com, a unique contributor to the Libertarian, contrarian, cause. There are some heavy academic hitters writing from Duke and Georgetown, from U of Chicago to Illinois.

Plenty of individuals engaging in more than simple free will, thinking, Objectivism, and more. You don't need to read 1984 in order to enjoy a few of their articles.

Launchpad and Marketing Plans, as well as Sales Plan

Goodreads, Noisetrade Books, Bublish, Reader’s Favorite, Story Cartel, Smith Publicity, Writer Cube, Author Marketing Club, Self-Publishing Review, Circle of Seven Productions, PR Newswire, Riffle, BookRiot, and BookDaily. BookBub.
Use these wisely.

Solstice Publishing has an editing position. See previous emails for details.
10 books are required in order to pass the hurdle with Reedsy( PROBLEM) or at least, 10 e-books.
Solution: I have 2 years of experience working with Solstice Publishing.

            •           Solstice
            •           Reedsy
            •           Bookbub
            •           Cycle

Series or individual books? I’d prefer individual e-books.
            •           History
            •           School
            •           How to maintain a brain while in high school.
            •           How to beat the SAT.
            •           How to write well
            •           How to work at a newspaper
            •           Write stripped, fact based newspaper articles.
            •           How to not get fired
            •           How to become an editor (consider this after you’re with solstice)
            •           How to join a writer’s conference.
            •           NOT a book on promotion. Yet. If I reach the 6 figure mark on sales, then I’ll review options.
            •           Resources for writers.
            •           Writer’s Digest
            •           LMP
            •           Writer’s Digest books
            •           WD’s conferences
            •           PNWA conferences
No fiction. History essays, when combined, can produce a good history book or “novella” length history book.

Chapters: 10: pages 20 each. Stats first, praise first, information second, then finally, subjective opinion.

What place holds the largest amount of diversity? Is it a school, a business, an investment firm? Well, it’s actually the first option, and it’s the largest public school in Washington State. It’s got some of the best ratings, teaching, graduation rates, and more.
It’s an institution called the University of Washington.
X% of graduating students were black, and this was in the 2017 class. Not only that, but X% of the students were Asian, and another statistic shows that they got along, produced x% of projects in tech and did a wide number of journalistic awards.
More than 130 programs, over 70 degrees, and hundreds of degrees with part time options (UW site)
Despite its significant tuition reduction program, it also works with immigrants. The DREAM act applies at this school. They provide serious aid for those who need it, and ensure that they have the financial backing to support themselves.
Also, it has online, part-time and full-time classes. There are also advisors that support the choices the students make in order to guide their progress through classes and graduate on time. General and major-concentrated advising work hand-in-hand to ensure that students can either spend time taking classes without having selected a major, or they can choose their major and receive individual, specific advising.

UW Press: Solstice, some other publisher, like Richard Hugo House. They must have a number of writers and individuals that are agents. IF I cannot find one, I think that $90 for 1 hour is the best and most effective way to tailor the book to the agent, the publisher, the editor, etc. In my meeting with one of their representatives, I want to address my concern and vision:

Book 4, also known as Book #2
            •           Concern: Which agent should I sign with
            •           Concern: Which publisher publishes books about a school?
            •           Concern: What can I do if I don’t get the right publisher?
            •           Concern: Which publishers do you recommend I look into?
            •           Independent publishers are preferable.
            •           If that doesn’t work, I’ll look into literary agents.
            •           I’m focused on business (entrepreneurialism), and education (university of WA)
            •
            •           Concern: UW Press: have you heard of it?
            •           Do you know if it’s any good?
            •           What are the prices for publication?
            •           What are the cover, interior, and general design? Are they expensive?
            •           Do you need an agent in order to access the UW Press?
            •           What does the UW look for in a book that you’re querying with?
            •
            •           Vision: My vision may conflict with my author plans. How do I steer myself in the right way?
            •           Vision: 10 books, 3 written, 2 online with Barnes and Nobles/Amazon, and 1 is just for me. Thus, I have to write 8 books.
            •           What’s a reasonable timeline for walking down the author pipeline from manuscript to book?
            •           Write-O-Rama: Maybe 1 200 page book in the course of a month.
            •           20 pages per chapter, 10 chapters overall. Roughly 3 chapters a week, for the purpose of publishing just a sample book to see what I can do with it.
            •           So, 20 pages on Monday, 20 pages on Wednesday, and 20 pages on Friday. Note that you will need Tuesday and Thursday to be off.
            •           Deadline: October 5
            •           Start: Friday, September 7th.
School book: Communications, summed up:
Sources and citations required. Use the books at the UW from previous classes. VON, Political Communications, etc.

Rhetoric, persuasion, politics, history.

The history of communication is quite fascinating. It provides a lens by which to analyze trends in history, ones that play a massive role in shaping the future. Historical communications varies widely.
Be sure to create e-books.
Join the National Guard or Coast Guard—further investigation required.
Consider paintballing again.
June 2019: graduation date, at the latest.

Before I start on #4, I need money. Like $5,000 in order to launch them.  Remember: State of Order and Great State both cost money. Pursuit was 100% free, and paid money as well. Revenue was under 3 figures. Great State and State of Order accumulated over $2000.00, FYI.

The organizations may help: particularly if you have a source. It’d also be useful to reach out to multiple organizations. Some are more flexible than others.
Story Cartel, and Bookbub, are entirely different organizations that serve very different purposes. Try reaching out to individuals at PR Newswire and Story Cartel.

Consider the cycle, and accelerate it.

July 2018 or September 2018? Former.

Project 1: History: Use your sources in order to establish a secure level of credibility with the audience I’m trying to reach.
            •           Don’t look at the arcing plan.

            •           Move, don’t stop. If you need a break, go on a walk and record the walk.

9.9.18: Narrative and Outline

The facts remain facts. The Mexican Americans, Mexicans, and every other immigrant in the 7 million population base struggle. They are challenged by their various obstacles, but they manage to overcome them through help, both with NGOs and government itself. They also get their support through various organizations that are NGOs like Casa Latina and the Centro De La Raza. The statistics remain the same. Immigrants struggle. (insert 3 stats) But they do more than that. They are the epitome of the American dream.
They come from different countries, they speak different languages. In fact, some of them are in danger. The ICE, or Immigration and Customs Enforcement is a governmental organization not to be trifled with. If an immigrant is being interviewed by them, they have a series of options. According to the Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network, the first option an immigrant can consider is to call the hotline. The conversation will involve discussions on whether you’re about to be deported, who’s in your house, and who is in your family. Next, the immigrant is advised to start video documenting (Stranger Magazine; double frog the source). Then, of course, to declare that you are recording them. If unable to identify what type of agency they are with, then ask them. Ask who they are looking for, after they respond. Remain calm. If the conversation feels off, ask if they have a warrant. Subsequently, ask for their name and badges. IF they do not have a warrant, ask them to leave your property, or community.
A huge issue some immigrants experience is the language barrier.
The Stranger Magazine recommends that you remember you have aright to privacy. It’s best to be friendly and size them up. Jokes may help loosen the situation. Not a reliable source.
More information can be found at info@waisn.org. It’s recommended that you send the location, date, and time. This allows for documentation, and potential action for the immigrant.
________
There are, of course, certain factors to bear in mind. Firstly, the police are not your friend. Also, they are looking for one of two things: one is information. The other is different, and shouldn’t concern most people. Rationally, one has to consider the following: are they looking for drugs, are they looking at your “rap sheet,” etc. If so, that may affect the way they handle the situation. In Washington, the police are generally reasonable. Remember, this book is about Washington State, not California, New Mexico, or Texas. Above all, sound articulate. That’s probably the best advice. If you’re mumbling, it’s hard to understand what the person is saying. If you’re articulate and humorous, you’ll generally be fine. It all depends on whether you can hold court with them. Then after that, maybe what you’ve done, what you’re doing, and on a basic level, your citizenship, visa, or green card status.
According to a source with WAISN, The Department of Homeland Security conducts routine anti-terrorist activity in light rail stations and bus stops. Treat the city like New York, if you’ve been there. Bus stops, or tacitly buses themselves, can be boarded easily. So, put on a smiling face and say hello. They’ll be brief if they’re on a bus because they have to let the bus keep going. So, when they ask to see your bus card, be sure to have ID with you as well. After a bit of analysis, you’ll find they’re there for someone else, not for you. The essential component to engaging comfortably with ICE or the SPD is to have a different mentality, and to apply due prudence. It’s also important to think rationally.
Creating a racket on buses does distract a bus driver, so try to avoid doing that. Often times, bus drivers won’t intervene if there’s a conflict, or if he perceives there’s a conflict, or if people are angry for no legitimate reason. He instead presses an emergency button, turns on the camera, and patiently waits for private security to arrive.
Taking public transportation should be an enjoyable experience. Some times, given the characters you’ll run into on a bus, it isn’t. There can be rowdy people on a bus. Sound Transit in Washington strongly encourages riders to report the ICE to the transit agency. To do that, you can call or text 206-398-5268 (WAISL)
In 2017, 26 people were arrested in Washington State, specifically Seattle and Portland, and targeted “hundreds of people in sanctuary cities,” in an operation called “Safe City.” DACA immigrants were not arrested. Unfortunately, these sorts of campaigns occur all the time. A sick and ailing man was taken from Miami—albeit across the country—and deported to Venezuela (WA Post). Since he would not be able to get the medications he needed to stay alive, his deportation amounted to a painful death.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement made 140,000 arrests last year, which was a 30% increase from 2016, according to ABC. It did not state where or when, or at what rate (apart from the quantitative measure of "30% increase", showing the level of security that has increased but not the threat level itself)

General Analysis of Immigration: Its Modern 21stCentury Challenges
            Introduction:
            •           Thank you: Government for sources, Casa Latina, for supporting imms, and more. The government provided a number of local statistics that helped shape this book.
            Chapter 1:
The challenges that immigrants face, like the ICE, Homeland Security, and more.
            Chapter 2:
The economic plus that immigrants provide to people in the US, or Washington State in particular.
            •           .Gov support of Immigrants
            •           Fact: Seattle Office of Economic Development calculates that a number of statistics show that an economy of inclusion and diversity is a way more successful economy.
            •           Fact/Estimate: Also, naturalizing every undocumented immigrant in Washington State could grow the state’s GDP by $31.5 billion over 10 years.
            •           (https://www.seattle.gov/iandraffairs/data#snapshot)
            •           In what areas of the economy?
            •           How fast does it grow?
            •           Is this a routine development over the course of 20-30 years
            •           Is it consistent, or does it vary from year to year?
            •           GDP development needs to be a section in the book.

            •           Fact: In 2014, immigrants in Seattle earned 23.4 billion.  (#3 S: .gov above)
            •           Fact: Seattle rests as one of the top 20 US metropolitan areas with the largest demographics of undocumented and unauthorized immigrants.
            •           In the Seattle, Tacoma, and Bellevue areas, there are an estimated 150,000 people without legal status, which ranks as the 16thlargest population in the US.
            •           Now, of those 150,000, Pew Research Center reported that around 20,000, or roughly 13%, live in Seattle. This could be for a variety of reasons, such as the increased number of NGOs that operate in Seattle.
            •           Unauthorized immigrants make up less than 10% of the total population in the Seattle Metropolitan Area.
            •           There are over 1 million immigrants in Texas in 2014. (Pew)
            •           There are over 1 million immigrants in Los Angeles (Pew)
            •           943,664 immigrants
            •
            •           Fact: ORIA is another governmental organization that helps
            •           The state government actually naturalizes people quite often.
            •           Also, the ORIA organization provides the following benefits:
            •           One is that

Organic respect for everyday life needs to be intrinsic in the novel. Like a root, it will grow. Like a weed, it will fall.

According to this Pew Research Center report, Seattle is among the 20 U.S. metropolitan
Chapter 3:

"ICE made a hundred and forty thousand arrests last year, an increase of thirty per cent compared to the year before, and the number of so-called non-criminal arrests has doubled," reports the New Yorker about Trump's first year in office.

Like a thesis, you can’t write it without research. Research first, no pivoting, no combining, no distractions. In fact, keep the computer and notepad separate.

Principal Arguments:

1) Immigrants in Seattle, not limited to latinos, can make a sizable chunk of money. They contribute to the econoomy in this individual regard.

2) Secondarily, immigrants like latinos often work and support the lower echelons of the job demographics. They are also more employed in Microsoft, Boeing, and other engineering fields. These are primarily individuals that immigrate to the Northwest (this is a concentrated review, not a study)

found a great church! it's a Catholic Church that actually guides you through the process of life. it's interesting to see the different kinds of people who engage in various activities.

I think it's the best way to reach out to someone when something has crushed you, when something has really brought you down. it's tough when the chips are down, and there's nothing left for you to do, when you're left with no other option, the best option remaining is to go to church. this is after you've made the bad decision, that is. a fierce temper can be cultivated through mistreatment, and then scar tissue develops over that.

Salvation Army

salvation army

It's one of the main American organizations that help people with a variety of things. They're the equivalent of a Church that provides food stamps through a deal with the benevolent, democratic side of government. They help the needy in a variety of ways that exceed simple donations provided from one district to the next.

I did some community service for Salvation Army in high school; I found it unnecessarily concentrated; I preferred giving commodities and goods to people in need. I found it necessary to "help" people, but in a significant way. The gift of giving is that it keeps on giving.

Community service in high school is often mediocre in the amount of help it provides. It helps somewhat, but it's not food for the homeless, or medicare for the needy, or serious funding to establish secure districts for the homeless.

Next blog post: 3 hours from now.

Christianity - Chris L

Einsteins' special their interest is not monetary, it is information. provide them information about yourself and they will build a profile. what kind of ____ is he? is he a bad one, threatening people online? Because he's done that. is he a listener to God? He's not one of those. if he's neither, he's a threat to _____.

I love God. He's the one, the savior, the producer and the provider. he's the one that provides food on the table, water, and shelter. he does this all in his Church, which allows him to provide for people who are in need. I believe in the Salvation Army, and in the activities of the Church, the Catholic one that is. Perhaps it's because I've travelled to Italy, and was blessed in many ways. I've travelled to Churches in Spain, and have seen the Moroccan influence on the architecture.

Jehovah is the one and only savior in this world, seconded by Jesus Christ. Whether Jesus is the Lord or God himself, that's up to basic Church to say, that's what we say. But to be more precise, he is like Moses or Abraham; he carried a message to Christians that said: I have heard the word of God, I believe in him, and I will die in his name.

State of Order author

State of Order author here.

Upon reflection:

I often reflect upon Sisyphus and the Marine that helped push that rock:

If Sisyphus had failed to push the rock, then people would have died.

If a Navy Seal had failed to push themselves, then someone would not have died.

Flow charts are most effectively used in order to organize themes in...anything.

You can organize the Andromeda Galaxy with it, the Milky Way (astronomy). You can organize your English process with it. You can organize a lot of things with a flow chart. Like how to beat an English professor. Or, how to square it with him.

I used to do that a long time ago. Worry about small things like organized essays, themes, dreamy metaphors and where to put them. Fact is, with 3 books published, and having been a student journalist, I've stepped into those shallow waters and found my feet wet enough to identify that a fourth book needs to be written on education. On why certain places are better for going to college than others, why price shouldn't be the first factor in mind. For within the premise of price lies the argument of fear.

It's not regret that's the argument. It's the process of initial steps in the wrong direction. regret is emotional, caustic, irrational to many, few, some, (it varies from psyche to psyche).

Iff A leads to C, then B must occur. But if A is step one, erroneous, what is the symbol for a false A? Is the new proof, iff B leads to C, then A must occur?

On a separate topic:

If father is off to war, then the circle may not remain intact.

If the family has a devotion to charity, then the circle may not remain intact.

Family circle, comparison between two people, weather patterns, dark, bright, etc. religious over touch, puritan heritage, christian heritage.

A story that "ambles" and is "casually" organized is one that is: disorganized, simple, convoluted. It is not a math problem, for that requires application of the brain....hmmm what is it again...a story, narrative, characters, arc, mystery, house of themes, and a few other things?

It'll be done.

Little Women is a story of growth, development, and Sunday school teaching. It’s all about how a person grows through beliefs and ethics, and eventually, through various chores. That’s infancy. In the story’s development, there is a far greater reach into the minds of two characters. The characters that are in the stories are Alcott’s Little Woman and Mark Twain’s Tom Sawyer. The stories appear similar on the surface, but deeper within lie serious differences. There’s the difference of events, for example. While Jo is wondering about how she should control her temper, he later finds out that if he’s patient, he’ll get what he wants (Chapter 8). Quite differently, in Twain’s story, Sawyer tends to start his romantic endeavors later in life, to establish chronological accuracy. This in many ways makes him a man; he’s willing to wait and experience life slowly, to truly appreciate what it has to offer.
A mind’s constitution is religion, and is composed of a conscience and oversees the brain, and such is present in Alcott and her characters like Meg.
From birth to its death, the person is following religion, which creates a moral compass, an arrow in which a person feels his way from place to place. When the moral compass is compromised or tested,

From birth to its death, the person is following a moral compass, an arrow in which a person feels his way from place to place, takes the occasional cigarette break with a hesitant friend, cautiously identifies his tests and completes them appropriately.
There are several references to different women in Alcott’s piece which centralizes around a theme of danger. They are located in a house in which the women live, which is a dark place, filled with ghosts and skeletons of previous spooky nights.

Depending on how religious Jo felt, her reaction to the haunted house was guided by her upbringing in Christian schools. Religion is the way in which a person adjusts his channel through life. The channel, or the flow of decisions, may actually be the person’s spiritual guide, and the channel itself. After all, according to Genesis in the New Testament,

Analogy, then adjustment, doesn’t make sense. Start with a topic paragraph, then march through evidence, or certainly analysis.
1.    Discuss Jo's relationship with Laurie. Lots of people (people who haven't read Little Women, part II) think that Jo and Laurie will get married some day. Does their friendship seem to point toward a romance? In Alcott's depiction of them, do you see signs that romance is not what she has in mind? Look sharp, give details, and think about how romantic love figures in Little Women.
Questions for myself:

1)   Can I write at a college level? No.
2)   Does it need to be written at a college level: yes.

3)   I need to write at a college level. Is this where it’s evidence based? Reflect upon previous essay and the grade you received. Is this where it’s analytical? Is this where it’s structured? It’s not where it’s thematic or metaphorical. It’s where it is structured, 5 paragraph, hints, parallelism, 3 pages, nonsecular.
